Product details

Printed and bound A4 documents, 2 to 290 pages.

Full-colour A4 print on 90gsm or 100gsm office bond, bound at our Fremantle shop. Wire binding for documents up to 120 pages, coil binding up to 290 pages. Add a clear acetate front + black backing, a custom printed cover, or both. Each adds a small surcharge so the no-cover path stays the cheapest.

Wire binding

Double-loop steel wire that hooks through punched holes along the spine. White wire is the office default; black wire pairs with dark covers and reads more formal. The page lies flat when open. Used for reports, training manuals, conference handouts, and any document where pages need to lie flat for reading or writing. Spine sizes (matched automatically): 5mm (2 to 30 pages), 8mm (31 to 50), 11mm (51 to 80), 14mm (81 to 120).

Coil binding

Plastic spiral coil that threads through punched holes. More durable than wire when the document is going to live in a bag or get rolled back on itself, because the coil flexes rather than crimping. Used for plan sets, cookbooks, technical manuals, and thick documents. Spine sizes: 16mm (121 to 140 pages), 20mm (141 to 180), 25mm (181 to 230) white coil, and 33mm black coil for the heaviest spines (231 to 290 pages).

Paper stock

90gsm is the everyday office stock: lightweight, opaque enough for double-sided print. 100gsm is the heavier choice for proposals, tenders, and anything you want to land in the hand a bit more deliberately. Both are uncoated bond and run cleanly through the binding equipment.

Cover options

Cover options are independent. Pick either, both, or neither. Clear front + black backing is a protective shell: a clear acetate sheet on top and a black card behind, keeping the first and last printed pages from getting marked up. Custom printed cover is a single 300gsm A4 sheet printed full-colour from your supplied artwork, replacing the lighter body stock on the front so the cover feels more substantial. Pick both for a branded 300gsm cover with acetate protection on top. Picking neither is the cheapest path and works fine for internal documents where the printed first page is the cover.

Artwork

Upload a print-ready PDF with the pages in reading order (front cover first, back cover last). 300 DPI, A4 trim, embedded fonts. For custom printed covers, supply a separate front + back cover artwork or a single wrap-around spread. our staff review every file before it gets sent to the printer; we will email you if anything needs a tweak.

I’ve been a customer of Alan and the team at Docuprint in Fremantle for nearly 30 years, and they’ve never once let me down. Their customer service is exceptional, their pricing is always fair, and their turnaround times are fast. Most importantly, the quality of their work is consistently perfect. It’s rare to find a business that cares this much, and I’m grateful for everything they’ve done over the years.

Docuprint were incredible from my first call to the finished product. Ipek and Aiden's understanding of my need to attach a barcode to the label ( and did a few alterations along they way) were courteous and got the job done quickly. Highly recommend Docuprint Fremantle as it seems nothing is too much trouble for this team.. Thank you again 👍

Docuprint has been fantastic in providing high-quality banners and flags for our early childhood education and care centres. The team is always easy to communicate with, helpful throughout the process, and consistently delivers products that look amazing. There’s a reason we’ve come back to order multiple times :)
