Aluminium Signs FAQs
Do you print safety signs?
Yes. Raw aluminium with printed or cut vinyl is the usual build for safety signs on worksites, warehouses and car parks. Composite suits wall-mounted and indoor safety signage. Send artwork that follows the safety sign standard your site uses. No artwork yet? Our in-house studio can set it up, quoted per job.
What file format should I upload?
A print-ready PDF at 300 DPI with 3mm bleed is ideal. We also accept AI, EPS, PSD, TIFF and high-res JPG/PNG. For cut-vinyl panels we need vector artwork with type converted to outlines so the cutter has clean paths.
Can I get an aluminium sign the same day?
Composite signs yes, on small runs (one to five panels), when the order is placed before 11am on Rush turnaround. Raw aluminium runs on Standard only because the panel is wrapped with vinyl in a second step that adds a day.
Composite or raw aluminium?
Composite for shopfronts and any signage where colour and a flat, modern look matter. It is also lighter so easier to install on glass and clean walls. Raw aluminium for industrial, safety or long-term outdoor signage where you want the metal look and maximum durability.
What's the difference between matt and gloss lamination?
Same protective film, different surface finish. Matt is anti-glare and reads cleanly under bright lights; gloss makes colours pop and is easy to wipe clean. Both add scratch resistance, fingerprint resistance and UV protection, and both are priced identically. Pick based on the look you want for the install.

What if my print comes out wrong?
We reprint it free, no questions. Our artwork check is designed to catch issues before it gets sent to the printer, but if something slips past us we own it.
