Pull up banners (also called retractable banners, roll-up banners or pop-up displays) are the workhorse of event marketing. They travel flat in a padded carry bag, assemble in under a minute without tools, and give you a full-height branded backdrop wherever you need it. Trade show, reception desk, open home, sports sponsorship, school fair, conference breakout: if your brand needs to show up, a pull up is the cheapest and fastest way to do it well.
Every banner we sell is printed, assembled and quality-checked at our shop at 63 Queen Victoria St, Fremantle. We print on premium anti-curling media that holds colour sharply under venue lighting and won't glare under photographer flashes. The stands are cassette-base pull ups with anodised telescopic poles, the same hardware most major expo suppliers use, not the disposable kit you get from generic online printers.
Sizing
- 850 × 2000mm is the industry-standard size and fits almost every booth and corridor.
- Step up to 1000 × 2100mm for trade-show dominance.
- 1200 × 2100mm for speaker backdrops and retail window frontage.
Basic Silver vs. Basic Black vs. Deluxe
- The Basic Silver stand is a proven, lightweight cassette in a brushed finish, great value for one-off events.
- The Basic Black version is the same hardware in a matte black finish that disappears behind darker artwork.
- Deluxe is our heavy-use pick: wider base, twin-pole support, weighted feet, and a tougher cartridge spring rated for hundreds of deployments.
If you're roadshowing, franchising or handing the banner between team members, get the Deluxe. The wider base and twin-pole support hold the banner straighter and survive transport that would chew through a budget kit.

Every job is handled by real people in our Fremantle shop: staff who actually open your file, look at it, and pick up the phone if something's off. We care about your job going out right.
Upload a print-ready PDF at 150 DPI at final size with 3mm bleed. Every file gets reviewed before it gets sent to the printer. We check:
- Bleed
- Low-res images
- Font embedding
- RGB-to-CMYK colour drift
- Safe zones at the top retainer and the bottom cassette

Turnaround and delivery
- Free click & collect from our Fremantle shop at 63 Queen Victoria St. It's our most popular option: you see the print in person before you leave, and it's the fastest way to get your banner in hand.
- Rush orders placed before 11am on a business day are ready the same afternoon. Available on single- piece runs only (1 to 5 banners).
- Standard is 2 to 4 business days.
- Metro delivery is a flat $35, no matter how many banners you're ordering, so bulk rollouts ship just as cheaply as a single unit.
- If we mess up on the print, we'll make it right.

Price
Those are the 850 × 2000mm Basic Silver at the Standard turnaround, and every price includes the printed banner, the stand and the carry bag. Basic Black is $252. Deluxe, with a wider base, twin poles and weighted feet, is $312, and is the only stand that comes in the wider 1000 × 2100mm ($338) and 1200 × 2100mm ($376) sizes. Runs go up to 25.
Time
Standard banners are ready in two to four business days. Rush is same day on runs of one to five: order before 11am on a business day and collect that afternoon. A Rush banner is $278 against $229 for Standard.
Pull up, roll up, retractable
Three names for the same thing: a printed banner on a spring cassette that pulls up onto a pole and rolls back into the base when you are done. 850 × 2000mm fits a booth or a corridor. 1000 × 2100mm is the trade-show standard. 1200 × 2100mm works as a speaker backdrop. The banner is printed on anti-curl media so the edges stay flat after months in the cassette.
What to send
A PDF at 150 DPI at final size with 3mm bleed. AI, EPS, PSD, TIFF and high-resolution JPG or PNG also work. Keep text clear of the top retainer and the bottom cassette; a person in the shop checks those safe zones on every file before it prints.
Collect or deliver
Collect free from 63 Queen Victoria St, Fremantle, Monday to Friday, or $35 flat delivery to metro areas no matter how many banners. If there is a genuine problem with the print, we reprint it free.
