Choosing plan prints
How to pick the size, finish and run for your plans.
- A4 (210 × 297mm) and A3 (297 × 420mm) suit detail sheets and sub-plans
- A2 (420 × 594mm) is the usual size for residential floorplans
- A1 (594 × 841mm) is the most common architectural plan size
- A0 (841 × 1189mm) suits full architectural drawings, large site plans and presentation sets
- Plain is 120gsm bond with no finishing, for office use, submissions and review meetings
- Plain bond lies flat on a table and takes pencil markup
- Encapsulated seals the print between two layers of clear film, with a small clear border outside the print
- Encapsulated prints are site-grade: moisture-proof, tear-resistant and wipe clean
- Use encapsulated for hoardings, site noticeboards and plans that stay on site for the project
- The price per print falls as the run grows
- The quantity tiles show the price per print for each run

Plan Prints FAQs
Do you print black and white plans?
Yes, on quote. Most plans are sent as colour PDFs (CAD line colours, hatching, services overlays) so the standard product is colour single-sided. Pure black-and-white runs are roughly 50–60% of the colour price at volume. Send us your file and run size for a quote.
Can you print double-sided?
On quote. Plan prints are single-sided by default because most submission and on-site uses expect a single face. If you need double-sided for a bound plan set or a presentation, send us your file and we will quote it.
Can you print larger than A0?
Yes, on quote. Our wide-format inkjet printer takes media up to 1118mm wide, so custom oversize plans are possible up to that media width. For oversized site plans, send us your dimensions and we will quote it within a business day.
Do you accept DWG or CAD files directly?
PDF is preferred. Flatten and print-export the DWG so we are looking at the same output you saw. We accept DWG as a fallback but cannot guarantee CAD line weight rendering will match your screen. AI, EPS and packaged InDesign are also fine.
Do you deliver Australia-wide?
Yes. Free click & collect from 63 Queen Victoria St, Fremantle, or courier delivery Australia-wide, priced by postcode at checkout. Delivered plans A2 and above come rolled in a tube to protect the bond. A3 and A4 come flat.
