Finishing
Each finish is a different way of treating the edge of the banner.
- Trimmed Edge: a clean cut, for short-term or indoor display
- Welded Edge: edges folded over and bonded, the standard outdoor finish for fences, walls and hoardings
- Welded Edge with Ropes: rope through the hem, to tie the banner off on poles, scaffolds and fences
- Keder Edge: a flexible strip that slides into a keder track or frame, for shopfront cassettes and pop-up display stands
- Eyelets are fitted every 1m: plastic on Trimmed Edge and Welded Edge, metal on Welded Edge with Ropes
- Keder Edge has no eyelets, because it slides into a track
- Ropes are included with Welded Edge with Ropes
- Keder Edge does not include the track or frame
- Cable ties, bungees and loose rope are not supplied

PVC Banners FAQs
How long do PVC banners last outdoors?
Two to three years of continuous outdoor exposure is typical for our exterior-grade PVC. The print itself holds colour for longer; physical wear at the eyelets and hems is usually what ends the banner first. Bringing the banner inside between deployments roughly doubles useful life.
Which finishing should I pick?
Welded Edge is the default for most outdoor jobs: folded and bonded edges, eyelets included, fits cable-tie or rope mounting. Trimmed Edge is cheaper and lighter for short-term or indoor display. Welded Edge with Ropes is the pick when you want to tie the banner off through the rope itself, useful on poles or scaffolds without eyelet points. Keder Edge is specifically for keder-track frames and cassettes, so only pick it if your frame uses keder.
Do you include eyelets?
Yes, on Trimmed Edge, Welded Edge and Welded Edge with Ropes. Eyelets are positioned every ~500mm along the perimeter: plastic on Trimmed Edge and Welded Edge, metal on Welded Edge with Ropes. Keder Edge does not have eyelets because it slides into a track.
Can I get a custom size?
Yes. The configurator covers the standard widths from 1m to 5m and two heights (600mm and 1m). If you need a different size, send the dimensions through the quote form and we will price it from the same material.
Can the banner be printed double-sided?
Our standard PVC banners are single-sided. For a double-sided banner that reads correctly from both sides under sunlight, we use a different blockout substrate. Contact us for a quote.
What if my print comes out wrong?
We reprint it free, no questions. Our artwork check is designed to catch issues before it gets sent to the printer, but if something slips past us we own it.
